Shift LB members voted to explore Intentional Communities in our next event, so we've scheduled a field trip to the most successful, long-standing transition movement in Southern California, the Los Angeles EcoVIllage on Saturday, Sept. 16th. http://www.laecovillage.org/ We'll plan to take the train, and have great conversations along the way! The Details: The Blue Line train leaves the Pine Ave. (and 1st Street) at 8:45am, so we'll meet at 8:30am. A day-pass will cost $5 and can be purchased at the station. We'll return in the afternoon, around 2:30pm. We'd love for you to ride with us and have a conversation about intentional community, but if you'd like to meet us there, the tour runs from 10:30-1pm. The tour itself costs $10, and an optional lunch is an additional $10 at the site. Cash only :o) ****TO ATTEND, YOU MUST RSVP TO LBEVOLVER@GMAIL.COM, or send Tony Damico a private message by Weds.
